A Conversation with Psychic Medium Caroline Feda

What if intuition isn’t something mystical you’re either born with or locked out of, but a relationship you build, moment by moment, inside your body?
In this episode of Turn Down the World and Turn Up Your Inner Voice, I sat down with psychic medium and intuition coach Caroline Feda to talk about energetic hygiene, nervous system regulation, and what it really looks like to trust yourself in a loud, over-stimulated world.
This conversation wasn’t about escaping real life to become more spiritual. It was about staying rooted in your body, your routines, and your reality—while learning to hear your inner voice more clearly than the noise around you.
Caroline begins every single day with what she calls an “energetic shower.” It’s a non-negotiable ritual where she visualizes white light clearing out energy that isn’t hers, especially important when your work involves holding space for others or living in a high-stimulus environment like New York City.
But here’s the part most people skip:
After clearing, she intentionally fills the space back up with divine light and balances her energy centers.
Clearing without replenishing, she explains, can leave you feeling empty or off. Intuition thrives when your energy feels full, supported, and contained, not wide open and depleted.
Caroline never imagined she’d grow up to be a professional psychic medium. Her early career dreams looked more like magazine writing, screenwriting, and working in entertainment. After college, she landed what she thought was her dream job in the music industry—only to find herself purpose-starved and deeply misaligned.
Around 2018–2019, after burning out in a toxic work environment, she turned inward. Astrology. Human design. Podcasts. And eventually, a psychic reading she found—almost accidentally—on Instagram.
That reading changed everything.
She was told she had intuitive gifts and could either choose to develop them…or keep living disconnected from herself.
What stood out most wasn’t that Caroline was “special,” but that intuition was framed as a muscle, something everyone has access to, if they’re willing to engage it.
One of the most powerful parts of Caroline’s work is her “bottom-up intuition” approach.
Instead of trying to access intuition through effort, mindset, or spiritual bypassing, she focuses on the body first, specifically, the nervous system.
After experiencing intense anxiety and panic that temporarily blocked her ability to give readings, Caroline realized something crucial:
When your body doesn’t feel safe, intuition goes quiet.
Constant fight, flight, or freeze drowns out subtle inner signals.
Through breathwork, somatic practices, and holistic support, she regulated her nervous system, and when intuition returned, it came back stronger, clearer, and more sustainable than ever.
Intuition, she teaches, isn’t found by pushing harder.
It shows up when the body feels safe enough to listen.
Caroline breaks intuition down into the four Clare senses, reminding us that everyone has all of them, though one or two are usually dominant.
None are better than the others. And none require you to radically change who you are to access them.
One of the biggest myths Caroline debunks is the idea that spiritual connection requires a total lifestyle overhaul.
You don’t need to quit your job, or stop watching reality TV.
You don’t need to give up everything you enjoy.
Instead, she encourages intentionality and moderation.
If something affects your energetic sensitivity, like alcohol or overstimulation—you can simply plan around it. Boundaries matter more than restriction.
Intuition works best when it’s integrated into real life, not placed on a pedestal.
For busy, modern lives, Caroline recommends habit stacking, pairing intuitive practices with things you already do.
A few favorites:
Her biggest reminder?
Intuition lives in the present moment. And presence requires space.
If intuition feels subtle or hard to trust, Caroline suggests starting an “evidence bank.”
Write down everything you think might be an intuitive hit—no filtering, no judging. Over time, patterns emerge. Accuracy builds confidence. And your inner voice learns that you’re willing to listen.
The more you trust it, the louder and clearer it become
Intuition isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about turning down the world just enough to hear what’s already within you.
When your body feels safe, your energy feels full, and your life leaves room for stillness, your inner voice doesn’t have to shout.
It simply speaks.
And you’re finally ready to listen.
